All you need is love...
Although this maybe hard to believe, Ryan really like the Beatles. I think it may have something to do with the fact that Chip Howard (a local sports radio guy) has all Beatles Fridays. MCS Opas had Rain, a Beatles tribute band, on their bill this year and they were playing on Ry's b-day. I had mentioned it to him a couple times and he wanted to go but was having a hard time committing. Well the week before the show, my Dad (aka BA or Pops) said that he really wanted to go. So Mom and Dad surprised Ry with tickets. We told him that we were going to eat on campus but went to the show instead.
It was really neat! The guys looked a ton like the real Beatles and sung just like them too. They did "acts" from all the big moments in history. It really was neat to watch because they were popular for so long and during some really big times in history. It was also really cool to see all the people singing and dancing to that music, especially Mom and Dad. Ryan even ended up on the jumbo screen during "Hey Jude"!
I think Ry had a really nice b-day... Guess what b-day comes next?!?!?!
